We support the local school districts by publishing their reading lists and circulation books on these lists.
Books on these lists are limited to a 28 day loan.

WHRHS Reading Lists - Summer 2005
Below are four master lists of books divided by grade level. Each has been divided further into a "Classics" list (List A), a "Diversity" list (List B), and a "Leisure" list (List C). Students must select their books from the appropriate master lists according to the following criteria:
- Prospective Honors/AP students must read four (4) books – two books from List A, one book from List B, and one book from List C.
- Prospective J students must read three (3) books – one book from List A, one book from List B, and one book from List C.
- Prospective K students must read two (2) books – one book from List A and one book from either List B or List C.
- Prospective L/M students must read two (2) books – from any of the three lists.
On Monday, September 19, 2005, all students will be evaluated on their summer reading. They will be required to complete an in-class essay in which they must refer to the books that they read during the summer.
